Printmaking Art Camp Indian Land

$180.00

Join me for printmaking adventure this summer! Before there was internet and cell phones, there was the printing press. Before you could buy your favorite piece of art as a poster, old school artists etched or carved their work into wood or metal so that the image could be made more than once. Today things like the screen printing of t-shirts, the printing of physical photographs, and the fact that most homes have a printer demonstrate that our hunger to reproduce ideas and images is still very important to us. These nine camp hours, over three days will introduce students to the tradition of printmaking and allow them to explore a variety of print making methods. They will come home with printed art, as well as at least one printing block that they can use to make future prints.
